Rockwood Farmhouse
Rockwood Farmhouse is highly recommended for a break with family/friends. Lots for the kids to do - swimming, tubing and canoeing on the dam plus a massive lawn and a games room if it rains. Quick getaway from city life
Quick drive from Durban and we were in the Karkloof forest reserve in Rockwood Forest Lodge. Beautiful setting in the forest with a 2km hike to the waterfall when we arrived. Brilliant

Lovely cabin in amazing forest

Reconnecting with nature 🌿
If you are looking for a moment to reconnect with nature, this place is for you! There is no internet or networks here and you have to walk a long track to reach the chalet. We replace the Netflix evening with a romantic moment by the fire and we take advantage of the large Hi-Tec kitchen to make delicious meals (the oven has a top-notch Pizza function 🍕). Stunning Retreat

Idyllic cabin in the woods

Natural Beauty at its Best
I'm not really one for writing reviews, but for Rockwood, you just have to make an exception. No other accommodation establishment in the world (and believe me, I've visited more than a thousand) can hold a candle to their sumptuous ROCKWOOD FARMHOUSE. Style with substance; perfectly balanced use of indoor and outdoor space; superb interplay of light; a natural setting beyond compare; quality linen and furnishings; and world-class servicing. I cannot think of a single thing I would change about our visit.
