Rockwood and Karkloof Waterfalls
- Horseshoe Falls (trail off road towards Mountain Lodge)
- Godwinwi Falls – The trail behind Rockwood Forest Lodge is a stunning hiking trail with carefully positioned bridges and support which leads to two magnificent waterfalls which make up the Godwini Falls. It’s about an hour’s hike and we highly recommend a plunge in the pools at the bottom of the falls to cool down afterwards! There are some steep elements
The Karkloof area has numerous large waterfalls. Some of the more spectacular falls are mentioned below:
- Karkloof Falls (about 35 minute drive towards Howick)
- Howick Falls (about 30 minute drive in Howick)
- Grey Mares Tail (on the road passed Mbona)
