Arrive and unpack (our friendly staff will help you with your luggage).
Sunset “Otter Walk” around the dam.
Sundowners on the verandah with tadpole and fish catching at the dam edge.
Big Green Egg braai for dinner (if you need to stock up in town, there’s a handy Pick n Pay and Woolworths Food in Howick – 20kms away).
Indoor and outdoor games for the whole family.
Drive or morning bike ride to the Karkloof Farmers Market (60km return) or Karkloof Country Club (30 km return). Take a coffee break and stock up on some yummy food purchases.
Dam swim, canoe, tube and paddle.
Relax and read on the private veranda or trip to the jungle gym and trampoline in farmland fields.
Garden walk for seasonal vegetables and herbs.
Lunch and an afternoon nap.
Sundowners picnic on the road to Mountain Lodge (5kms drive up the hill towards the Eastern part of the private Karkloof Nature Reserve).
Home for dinner, charades, videos, TV or games round the fire.
Morning Karkloof Canopy Tour and lunch (20 minute drive away).
Mid-afternoon relax / swim.
Farm walk to work to work up an appetite or hike up to Godwini Falls at Forest Lodge.
Dinner and games.
Pack for next day departure.
